    Having just finished last night/this morning, I'll add that for a WRX, with the air pump, the dipstick bolt is inaccessible. You can still get the pan out and the new one in, you just have to sqeeze the dipstick tube on first. Looking back now, I might have removed the air pump if I had researched this first instead of trying to figure it out spur of the moment.

    Also, if you have an aftermarket anti-sway bar, you WILL have to drop it and move it out of the way to access the engine mount bolts correctly. Don't try to squeeze the socket on there because you will just end up rounding that bolt off if you don't have it perfectly aligned.

    Went to try this today, spent about 4 hours trying to get the adhesive to break loose on the pan with no luck, then gave up. Any suggestions?

    did you try with a rigid putty knife and/or flat head and pressure, gently of course?

    Yep, tried both. Neither work, even tried a hammer with them lol. Its like freaking cement. If worse comes to worse I'll just take it somewhere and let them deal with it haha.
