    13 WRX ECU swap

hey guy i have a 2013 WRX. the right side got water damaged and destroyed the ECU. I bought another off of Ebay, exact same part number. I plugged it in and the car will not crank, fuel pump doesn't prime either. I was wonder if the ECU needs to be synced with the auto theft stuff or the immobilizer and key by the Subaru dealership....

Transponder key needs to be encoded to that specific ECU
