    Exclamation Belt conditioner

Hello all. I'm currently experiencing an intermittent belt squeak during cold start up that lasts about 3 to 10 secs (depends on OAT). Its happening on my WRX as well as my Mitsubishi daily beater.

I've done a little research on belt conditioners and it seem to work fine, atleast from the videos i have seen. I came here today to get a little feedback from those who have used a belt conditioner in the past (CRC brand preferably). Would this be worth it to try out? Any pros and cons? Will this make things worse after time?

PepBoys Video Ad said never to use belt conditioners, which made me feel a bit skeptic about using this product.

Your thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Happy Holidays.

^ This. If your belts are tensioned properly and you don't have any shot pullies there shouldn't be a whole lot of squealing.

So does that mean he has to change the belts? I'm having the same problem.
