I've bought the Wix one before and it does NOT come with the frame, so i had to cut the frame out, drop the plain filter in the hole and use the big part of the frame to seal up the hole.. the filters from fresh cabin air, INCLUDE the frame and look just like stock for much cheaper!

just thought id let you know.
Thank you for the website. I just got mine from them and fits perfectly and it is priced reasonably. Awesome

    Re: Cabin Air Filter

My Impreza service manual recommends inspecting it at 30,000 miles. If you have good air flow, without any bad odors, don't change it. If it ain't broke. don't fix it.

    Re: Cabin Air Filter

No prob! I'm going to play around with some ideas on how to make the scent last a little longer. The dryer sheet is great for a few days but I've found out it loses its scent after that.

Maybe some of those dry aroma gel packs would work in there, too. It's more of a time released product. I still leave the dryer sheet in there, though - much easier to just throw it away and keep the filter clean.

That's robbery. The part is only $30ish, and it literally takes five minutes to change. You can do it yourself in the parking lot.

    Re: Cabin Air Filter

I got mine off Amazon.com for about $18 (free shipping when I added a filter for my wife's Odyssey). At just under 30K miles, mine was pretty full of crap.

Does this one come with the plastic frame, or just the paper filter element?
