I know this horse has probably been beaten, kicked, run over, punch, etc.. But... I have a Blue 02 WRX Bugeye wagon that I bought with 4.8 miles, production date of 1 Jan 2001. It has the original turbo that has started leaving oil on the garage floor. The valve covers have been changed and don't leak, the banjo bolts aren't leaking, no oil leaking down the rear passenger side of the block. Hoses are clean and aren't leaking. My last guess is the oil seal internally to the turbo on the exhaust side. It's not blowing blue smoke and no loss of power but the oil seems to be dripping mostly from the bottom side of the exhaust gasket between the downpipe (TurboXS) and the turbo. The turbo flange mounting area is dry all the way around and so is the downpipe. So the oil (my guess) has to be coming from inside the exhaust. Is that even possible..? Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
