Hey my impreza's temp blue light thing stays on for about 1.5 to 2 mins in the morning. Should I wait until the light goes away before driving. I think that Subaru cheap out on that part and didn't add the traditional needle gauge.

I'd wait 30 seconds to 3-5 minutes depending on how cold it is. you need to let the engine warm up so that fluids can pressurize properly (brakes, clutch, etc), otherwise you can wear out pumps and stuff.

Blue Light? I'm old and maybe I just don't see that color anymore. Where should I be looking, or should it be obvious?

The non-WRX Impreza'a don't have a coolant temp gauge. Instead, we get the BLUE LIGHT, which stays lit for a bit until it hits some temp. The rumor is that this light may also turn into the RED LIGHT if you overheat.

Haven't seen that part though :D
