so i whent to the drag strip for the first time ( sorry TP guys could not go below 14 but i am shure i can do it )

167ft elivation
87+f / 90+f temps

MODS
18/8 rims with Nito Invo rubre
32 PSI front 35 PSI rear
Perrin TBE catted
AP with TP stage 2 map

i did 3 runs here is the best of the 3 runs ( on my 3rd run i misted 3rd and said i am going to call it a day )

A bit disapointed would like to break into 13 ( with temps in 60/70 and lower the psi in the tiers i could do it :))

Your letting off early, real early. Also what RPM are you shifting at?

You should be shifting at like 7k, my stage 1 my redline is 7k.

yup 08 on the TD04 i have not seen my dyno chart and that is what deturmins where you need to shift so i fig i would be safe at 6k :)

When drag racing you want to shift at redline.

I think 7k is waay too much! You want to shift wherever you get the best average power between the gear your in and where your going to be in the next gear. You can use someone elses dyno graph with similar mods as yours and ballpark your shift points to within a couple hundred rpm

Whoops, I didn't realize it was an 08. But yeah I'd probably say to shift between 6200-6500, though 6k might be fine, I know the power curve is different on an 08. By letting off early I meant before the end of the track, I thought you had an 09 and a 95MPH trap would be stupid low for an 09. I'm not sure if that's low or normal for an 08.

i do not let off untill way pas 1/4 its just one of the things i do from what i gather low 14s high 13s is good for an 08 :/ ehh w/e

My best time with my 08 was 14 flat with stage 2 perrin tune

i made 14.6 with stock tune. my friend made 14 flat with a DP, UNtuned. (we both have 08s, TD04) im sure you can get better times with TP stg2 map. just work on your launch and gear shift bra, you got this! ;)

OP, Are you running those 18's at the strip? If so I'd get rid of them for some lightweight 16's and you should get into the 13's with your ET's, GL!
