R/T -- .826
60' -- 1.894
330' -- 5.464
1/8 -- 8.479
MPH -- 82.22
1000' -- 11.032
1/4 -- 13.206
MPH -- 102.93

R/T -- .634
60' -- 1.898
330' -- 5.563
1/8 -- 8.597
MPH -- 81.88
1000' -- 11.149
1/4 -- 13.321
MPH - 103.34

Cliffs:
First time launching with AWD and I was bogging like crazy.
I know I should be hitting 12"s with the kind of trap speed I'm getting

03/30/11 Update

I am confused as hell with my best time slip ???

R/T -- .387
60' -- 1.759
330' -- 5.326
1/8 -- 8.361
MPH -- 82.10
1000' -- 10.930
1/4 -- 13.152
MPH -- 101.75

So everything improves but the trap speed. Was never able to hit 12's at the track. Couldn't trap any better than 101mph.

Data log seems to be fine. What the hell am I doing wrong?

04/13/11 Update

After my 7th run of the day, I was lucky enough to get a free pass in the eliminations and break into the 12's ;D

New best time 12.982 @ 104.34 mph

Sorry, no video this time. I kinda went last minute due to rain earlier during the day.

Re: 2011 WRX Stage 2 @ Infineon Raceway Bay Area

Nice work! Only thing that sucks is they let the Mustang get a jump on ya... I love whoopin' on them, lol. Actually he had a fast time though o_O Lookin' good. I have just about the same set up with an AEM intake instead and stock wheels :p

Hey man, i HIGHLY recommend Eric's Torque Performance Stg 1 and 2 tunes. www.torquedperformance.com

You load them right to your AP or Opensource tuner and bam, amazing tune.

There are anti bogging features and the HP gain's KICK COBB'S ASS.

Im tellin you, iv been usin cobb's stg 1 tune for 5 months now, and Eric's TP map blows it out of the water.

Also, are you sure you turned off traction control at the start?

I second Bryan's advice. Torqued Performance ftw.
There's a stage 1 in the 12's on this forum ;)

had to et him get ahead its bracket racing your racing the clock .

i am 100% for tourqued performance maps i am and have been a tester for his maps .his stage 2 will kick the pants off a cobb or perrin map any day .

he also will custom tune maps for you and the stage above the 2 the 2.5 for ya with the grimmspeed ebc is awsome also . hands down the best money you will spend on a map .

keep up the great work

PS his map will get ya in the 12s :)

Re: 2011 WRX Stage 2 @ Infineon Raceway Bay Area

Traction control was indeed off.

I know about the guy hitting 12"s with stage 1 TP map. I was actually gonna get the Stage 2 TP map the day before
but wanted to play it safe for the first time.

My goal is to get a protune after I get a couple more things for the car. Just wanted to see what it's capable of the way it is now

The mustang had to go first because he clocked in at 16.7xx or around that. You don't know how much I wish we could've launched at the same time. I kinda wanted to get that on video for extra background. ;D

Re: 2011 WRX Stage 2 @ Infineon Raceway Bay Area

Lol, thats funny, not only does it make the car faster but Eric's maps make the car so much more enjoyable to drive. My shifting is so much smoother. I was actually upset with how sloppy shifts were when i first got the car. I thought to myself okay im not used to it, give it a month and ill be used to it.

Nope......Eric's map makes my shifts like shiftin into butter.

Very happy and best 70 bucs iv spent!.

Now gonna fork out another 70 when i get his stg 2 maps once i get a downpipe!

Re: 2011 WRX Stage 2 @ Infineon Raceway Bay Area

Already have it flashed and went for a little drive. Car feels like it has a lot more torque but that's just the butt dyno talking. I'm gonna see what it puts down at the track in a couple weeks.

Re: 2011 WRX TP Stage 2 @ Infineon Raceway (Update 3/30 13.1 secs)

I think shifting a little earlier may produce better results. We kinda loose power do to head inefficiencies above 6000. I am used to a slightly different power curve at high altitude but that's how we get faster times. take it 6500 in first and then 6000 in the other gears and your times may improve. generally peak hp is around 5500 in this map.

That makes a lot of sense, Eric. I"m gonna try that next time at the track. Thanks for the advice.

Re: 2011 WRX TP Stage 2 @ Infineon Raceway (Update 3/30 13.1 secs)

^ I played with a lot of different rpms ranging from 3500-5500. I netted the 1.7 60' by launching at 3500rpm.

Yeah, as a tester for the 2011 WRX tunes I can completely stand by his tunes. I am extremely happy with the power I'm putting down. They kick some ass. I wooped on an m3 with this tune :p
