why are you going to move down a size? are you going to rally with them and run a bigger profile tire? and yes, 19lbs seems to be pretty heavy for a 16". I think my 17" rota torques are about that weight. and that is still considered pretty heavy.

I would suggest waiting to get aftermarket wheels until after your stock tires are expired. That way you can get 17 inch wheels instead.

You can get really good 225/45R17 tires for less than the cost of the stock RE92s in 205/55R16. The Bridgestones are just REALLY expensive for what you get...which is not much.

me im gonna sell my potenza as soon as i get back to canada, they have only like 400km on them and i saw a lots of people succesfully selling them for 900$ the set with like 1000-2000km on them... tires in canada are more expensive then accross the border and with 900$ i can have a nice set of BF G-force 18" :D

I've been told by a guy at the local tire shop that he can swap them from old wheels to new ones. Although I haven't heard for sure how well this works, or if some aftermarket wheels will not accommodate these sensors. Bump on this question for sure.

my rotas are just fine with the sensors. The old ones are held into the wheel by a bolt and the rota will allow for the sensors to be installed.

we have done two 2008 WRX's with rota wheels with no problems.

Bah. Subaru does not have an owner procedure for registering new TPMS units. You either have to buy a $200 tool, or take it to the dealer (and I've heard that some are charging $50 for this!).

So, I'm going to put up with the warning light with my new wheels for now. I have a pressure gauge, and I know how to use it.

hay guys,

sorry to hi jack thread, but what would be the best wheel size for a n/a impreza.

iv heard to stick to 17 for tire choice and weight reasons, but would going 18x7.5 be too big?

was thinking about these onesin 18 inch
