I'm worried how the AP will hold up in the cold if leave it in the car. Any experience out there? Is it a problem?
Thanks,
Steve

Haha I never thought of that...

It always stays in my car,

I figure thought, if I have a Navi installed and it sees the same extremes the little AP should be fine...

thanks. i never left the version one AP i had for my forester in the car. i want to use the security map on my wrx so i see no way around leaving it in the car. it isn't like there is a built in battery in it.

Doesn't it end up being a big hassle if you keep using the security map, then reloading a performance map and letting it relearn again? I guess if you also reflas the real time should be ok.

the security map is not a base map. not sure if the ECU would have to relearn the base map after that. my guess is that it would.
