COBB has released beta RACE maps for the 2008 WRX - Stage 2, 93 octane.

Is anyone using the new beta map? I have been testing it for around 200 miles. Most notibly the map is STRONG, stronger than my Perrin stage 2 map. AFR pegs at 11.1 - However part throttle is rough at times, and I do see boost creep in 4th and 5th (catless TB though). Gas mileage is GREAT as well. 25mpg mixed driving.

I encourage you guys who are running the standard OTS stage 2 and Perrin stage 2 to try it out and post up. Remember its a BETA map so keep a watchful eye on your DAM and be sure it hits and stays at 1.0 (no knock).

When the AFR pegs at 11.1 on the accessport during WOT, it means it is actually below 11.1 - since the AP cannot read/display any lower of an AFR.

But that's besides the point that 11.1 is NOT lean, its actually spot-on.

AFR at idle is 14.7 just like its supposed to be. AFR at idle will ALWAYS be stoich because you're in closed loop, your short/long fuel trims will seek out and maintain 14.7 for you.
