2. attempt :cheesy:

Hy, my name is Simon and I'm a car enthusiast in car hatin' Switzerland.

After reading through the forums and owning my first STI for several months I thought it's time for a journal. although it's not going to be a huuge story.

I went through different cars, all hondas just until now, when a bougth my SWP sedan. hgh, the guys in my crew are still pissed..

started with a Honda CRX, modded it sligthly.
then I had an Honda Integra Type-R with the B18C6 engine.

After that I went for the hothatch CTR FN2

I had it for 3 years and had to decide, either to build a strong engine or go for a car, which has the power right from the factory.
'cause in Switzerland parts such as headers, hi-flow cats, air-intakes and so on are illegal, it would have been a PITA to build the honda.
although the sleeper-kind-of-car (nothing special on the exterior) would have been nice.
the K20A in the CTR is a good base and with NA tuning you can get around 250whp..

but then, I ran into a STI and decided to go with the factory solution.

next to the STI i built up an CRX with an B18C6 out of an ITR with my cousin, it's nearly finished an will be a track dedicated fun car. pics on requests..

I try to have some sort of organisation in this topic, please give me a second..

Is your map a protune or off the shelf like cobb?

the maps are protuned ones because we can't use cobb on EUDM cars. ECUTEK was used.
Can't state the mods in detail due to the regulations here..

Also, this is measured at the crank, so it doesn't compare to the whp you guys use.
engine is still on stock internals, around 21 psi of boost.

Awesome job on the build thread. Glad to see you put one up for us to see :D
You seriously have a great build going there and curious on what you have that you can't post :p
You're 100% correct about not having enough CF ^^b I wish I could afford it ahah Love the wingless trunk looks way better.

It's a nice piece and i went for it because i didn't like a-pillar mounts (airbag).

Also, ATI and SMY would force you to get more gauges. I trust the tune to keep AFR in range so i just wennt for oil and egt temp and boost.

In the earlier productionseries there seemed to occur problems with the stepping motor, but mine just works fine.

I even bought a second one for the track car (crx, soon to be turbo'd).

For a 'single' gauge you still need a proper mounting solution. MB discontinued their GR single pod and zerosports is pricey. But, a 3 gauge setup with mounts will be equally in pricing if not more..
