Hey guys, I recently bought an 02 wrx with an 05 sti engine swap. However, after doing a compression test on the cylinders, I found that they were all pretty horrible (92, 94, 108, 110). That being said, I want to get the car fixed up before anything worse happens. I don't have a huge budget, and buying a new EJ207 isn't really an option for me. So, my choices are buying a new EJ205 2.0L, getting it installed and getting it retuned, or having my mechanic open the current engine and try and fix things up. Ideally I'd like to keep the current setup, but we still haven't pinpointed exactly what the issue is and I'm worried that the rebuild might be biting off more than I can chew. Just wanted your guys opinions, I know there are a lot of factors and I don't expect anyone to have 'the answer,' but any insight or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you:undecided:
