So I took my 2010 wrx265 to the strip this weekend. It was my first time with an awd vehicle. I think I got the hang of it pretty fast.
Mods are only a Perrin cold air

Here are my 3 best

60' -1.993
330-5.688
1/8-8.742
Mph-81.60
1000-11.336
1/4-13.548
Mph-102.16

60' -2.080
330-5.611
1/8-8.601
Mph-82.78
1000-11.213
1/4-13.48
Mph-102.21

60' -1.922
330-5.511
1/8-8.571
Mph-80.69
1000-11.181
1/4-13.390
Mph-104.31

I'm aiming for looow 13's with a tune if not a 12. My best mph of the day was 104.9

Impressive ET's, those are some of the fastest Ive seen. Even more impressive since its your first AWD car, Im still getting used to launching. Did I read right that your running a CAI without any tune? Careful if so, Ive read alot of threads saying this is a big no-no. The engine has issues dealing with the increased airflow and can run super lean.

I'm using the Perrin intake. It clearly states that I don't need a tune for it. That is the only reason I haven't tuned it yet. I felt rushed when I was staging so I never launched at a set rpm but was high around 4500. Feather just enough to touch the engagement point and fully release with full throttle. It took off hard with very slight wheelspin.
I'm in Toronto. Track is at 600'

Companies will say anything to get you to buy their product... You "Should be tuned for an intake... It's not gonna hurt anything but your not going to get any amazing gains from a CAI.. The gains could be better with a tune though...

Regardless.. His time speaks for itself!! Nice driving!!!

When you lunch at 4500, do you get the clutch burn smell? I get it everytime in my 08 at 3800 when I launch.
Yeah I get that too... I launched pretty hard a couple weeks ago and smelled my clutch all the way home.. Luckily Subaru just so happened to have heard a noise from my throw out bearing... so now i'm getting a new clutch ;D

i smell the clutch burn a lil bit @ 5000 rpm launch. i guess it all depends on how u balance both gas n clutch. just my opinion.

O.k so I went back to the track tonight. This time the mods were
ERZ catless downpipe mated to the stock catback,
Perrin CAI
Perrin Equal Length header
Running the Perrin Stage 2 with Intake Map

60' - 1.795
330 - 5.265
1000- 10.689
1/4 - 12.805
MPH - 110.48

Note: The 1/8 was not working that night.

Using Lauch Control @4500rpm and FFS. I'll try to get a copy of the slip. Just wish I had done something .005 seconds faster ;D
The car was heat soaked from a 1 hr drive to the track and sitting in the staging lanes for 1/2 hr before each run. Look for updates soon

That great glad to see a update . The car is kicking ass. I bet it will be 2 tenths or more with a catback the stealth back was very restrictive.

I am in Canada my track is like 30 feet above sealevel can't wait I will pray to get a 12b.
You give me great hopes.

I would get a custom tune . That Perrin map isn't going to give ya the best that header combo can give ya.

Finally got some pics of the slips. Best to worst. Took my sweet time staging on the last run with a 1.8 second reaction time. Broke my first 1.7 60' ;D
