Hi all,

New to the forum. I've been driving a 2004 IS300 manual transmission for the last 15 years ----> original owner. Absolutely love my car, but it is so old that it is starting to develop expensive old car issues, so it's time to think about a new car. I'm very particular...my new car HAS to have a manual transmission and needs to be a small wagon-style (I need something a little more practical for outdoors sports, but still plenty sporty like my IS). A local dealer has a 2014 WRX wagon in manual transmission with 52,000 miles for sale. My mechanic (who specializes in Japanese cars) warned me that Subaru's have some issues (clutches and head gaskets). I'd be curious to hear from some WRX owners your honest experience with the car. I haven't been out to see the car yet, but when I bought my car 15 years ago the decision was between the IS300 and a WRX. I'd still love to have a WRX!

Thanks in advance!
