Hello all, I've had my STi since 2004 and lately the Brandt security system has become virtually impossible to operate.
I think this forum is based in the USA, so hopefully some Aussies with knowledge are on here.
I put in my usual code on the keypad and car won't start, just turns over. Luckily, I've got the Master Code and that works sometimes.
I'm guessing that there's no fix, so I wouldn't mind bypassing the whole system, until I organise for a new, different system to be put in its place.
Any videos or step by step pics available for a mechanically minded, but not electronics endowed person to disable this system?
Maybe there there is an Aussie forum somewhere?
