Hello all,

I have a 2008 WRB WRX wagon and am having some problems with the clutch. Specifically the clutch seems to engage more than 3/4 of the way from the floor. I talked to a service rep at my Subaru dealer, and he suggested that it is not adjustable. Something about a hydraulic clutch.

1. Were the previous model years the same clutch?

2. Does anyone have a link for a 2008 service manual?

Thanks

Yeah, I'm still feeling the clutch out. It may be normal, but it is just different to me.

I signed up for a subscription to the Subaru Technical documents service.

for the next 72 hours I can get any Subaru service manual. 2008 STi included :)

I'm downloading like mad right now. I will have to check out the copyright stuff on the website to ensure legality of just posting all of the stuff. But there are other ways to get data like that distributed.

Go to the dealership, they will print you out anything and everything you need.

I downloaded everything and merged the 722 individual PDFs into one large PDF. It is about 50 mb.

Edit: Fixed

I doubt it is legal to distribute the copies that you download. It isn't too hard to get everything you need from Subaru Technical. I did it in a night a few weeks ago.

As for as the clutch engaging 3/4 of the way out. Ya know it's easier to adjust your seat/steering wheel than your clutch. Why not change up your driving position?

Best,

method.
