08 5 door owner. previous 04 forester xt stage 2 owner. i have always been interested in the wrx. i have also experienced lack of enthusiasm towards my 3G from older wrx owners. seems to be a lot of hate on sites like nasioc and clubwrx. i am really only interested in posts related to the 3G wrx so this site is perfect.
I have installed an SPT catback. getting my Cobb AP this week with a Perrin Stage 1 93 map. I have 18" Weds Sports Racing wheels waiting for next summer from my forester.

Eventually will get a Cobb DP and go Stage 2. Front and rear swaybars will be upgraded soon. i was thinking springs but i have read some posts at other sites stating the STI springs are blowing out the 08 struts on some people cars. need to research that more.

the hate is apparent and will probably remain till the next generation comes along. And by then there will be ppl with the 3G Impreza hating on the next one. That's how life goes.

howdy, welcome aboard :)

sussex county aint all that far from orange county, you should come cruise around with me and some of the other 3G's one day...
i'll be passing through pretty much every weekend back and forth from my snowboarding trips to Stratton. i picked up a season pass for this season.
i would be interested cruising around. send me an email sometime and i'll see if i can make it. once snowboarding starts i won't have time for anything else except work and sleep.

Fun videos. I really like riding out east. The trees and everything make the experience so much different than it is out here. It feels more like cruising through your back yard than some huge faceless mountain, which is kind of cool if you like just cruising. Boyne and Nubs Nob are pretty fun, and they get a decent amount of snow up that way too. The season doesn't start up here in WP till Wednesday, though Summit County has been open for a week or two.

I've been riding a 160 Burton Custom-X for the past few years, and have a junker Forum 158 that I picked up for cheap a few years ago, mainly a teaching board. I want to pick something a little less aggressive up this year.
