I have a 2004 wrx. i just swapped the engine for a jdm ej205. i am using the usdm wiring harness, intake, tgv's, exhaust, i switched over a couple different coolant lines, cam and crank sensor, cam and crank sprockets, oil pressure sensor knock sensor, turbo. I did a lot of research. only the short block and the heads are jdm, the rest is usdm. It runs basically fine but there are two problems that weren't happening before the engine swap. 1) now the boost never goes above 1-2psi. at idle it's around -20psi. 2) the only check engine codes are p1091 and p1093. these mean stuck tgv's. I am reusing the same ones and there were no issues before. Does anyone know what i should do to try and fix these codes.
Also, could the stuck tgv's be causing the really low boost?
