Under The Hood "Bling"
After i bolt on a few more performance mods and get an AccessPort, i was considering making things under the hood aesthetically pleasing. For the most part, i want to keep the exterior relatively stock. I will probably go with a mild window tint and some rims... i don't want to draw any unneeded attention from the Police.
Second only to the track, under the hood is where i would like to make my car shine. This will probably break the bank, but i think it is worth it. I originally was on the market for an EVO MR. I saw EVO's in magazines with the show quality engines and i really wanted mine to look like that. Unfortunately, the closest new EVO MR was 3 hours away. So i went with the competition. Subaru.
To start out this project i ordered the CAI from Ultimate-Racing. Eventually, i would like to get it powder coated. Next up i will probably get a strut tower brace. The brace will improve performance and add to the "bling factor" under the hood. After that i will probably be looking at some minor things like get matching oil and radiator caps, i have always been interested in ARC products. There is an alternator/pulley cover and radiator shroud to match too. Then there is the radiator hose, overflow resevior, and catch can. A Koyo radiator would also be nice as well as a mild wire tuck.
So, here is my shopping list. It will probably change as i continue searching for parts.
