LS1 turbo'd black FD was there ran an 11.2 and a some sick bikes too. Stock body 'Busa ran a low 8. For my first time out and a car with low low miles, I think I have a very decent time. I really need to learn how to drive these things lol..............

Best run of the day:

60 ft 2.003
330 ft 5.949
1/8 ET 9.262
1/8 MPH 74.51
1/4 ET 14.512
1/4 MPH 93.77

I had several 2.0 60 ft but couldn't get into the 1.9's. Also, with the stock setup, I do not have to shift into 4rth so I think that helps the 1/4 mile time a bit. With a 1.8 60 ft I could be seeing some very nice stock results out of my WRX. Would be sweet to get a 14.2 stock (Wishful thinking)!

ran bone stock tonight at 6k feet and ran a 15.1

not a very good night but this elevation changes expectations, I beat a new mustang GT, rx8, and 350z tonight so I'm not sure what to think.

as long as you took out the mustang, rx8, and 350z that's all that counts! 6000ft gsl, where are you located? you are really only 0.5 secs behind avg @ that elevation. nothing wrong w/ your numbers @ all.

elevation according to google earth is actually 4907 feet at the tree. I live at 6500 in colorado springs but hey, what's a thousand feet :D

here's the slip, with my shitty R/T

and here is the joke altitude diagram that I just made to make myself feel better. I cant find a turbo compensated chart so I'm going to blindly assume that the fact that I make my own atmosphere has nothing to do with the math and wallow in my superiority assuming I would have just set the best stock 1/4 record ::)

I need to move to the ocean

my best R/T of the night was .095
my top speed of the night was 91.76
my best 60' of the night was 2.122

I ran about a 16 times, most of them hot lapping. sat a bag of ice on the intercooler when I got a chance during the bracket races lol

I took the 08 WRX to the strip last night, here in colorado:

Elevation: 5800ft, kills the times.

Best run: 14.67 @ 92.47mph with a 2.0 60'.

Only mods are a megan racing catless downpipe and a accesport with a cobb stage 2 map, waiting for my SPT exhaust to come in.

This is a pretty good time for this elevation, there was a stock 08 wrx that ran 15.9 and a evo 10 that ran a 14.6.

my little 7 yr old girl wants me to race my car. i told her next time i get home from work that we would do it. that is 4 weeks away and i can hardly wait. the strip is about 2 hrs drive away on an old air strip. i am stg2 @ sea level and expecting around a 13.5 sec 1/4 mile pass. after all these mods that i have done, i am looking forward to seeing what the car can do in the 1/4 mile. i will post my times as soon as they become available. my daughter is a funny one, after i traded in my 2006 sti for this car, i took her out in the new wrx and asked her what she thought. she looked at me very disappointed and said "it's not an sti daddy". i had to chuckle to my humbled self. :D

2008 WRX 4 dr pemium Ran Friday night. Fourth run was my best. 14.66 at 93.5mph. 60ft was 2.09. Everything is all stock. Does anyone have anycomments on the new SPT catback exhaust? I'm thinking of that with a Perrin downpipe and Cobb tuner. What should I expect my time to go down to?
