The clutch cylinder is the thing right under the tmic, right? I noticed that it is even rubbing up on my stock ic when i took it off for the first time. there is a noticable dent on the bottom of my stocker.. is there anything i can do besides grinding stuff off?
and what does the clutch cylinder do exactly? does it move? i find it weird that it can dent into the ic straight from the factory.
i think its from the engine rocking back and forth. the clutch cylinder itself doesnt move externally. i also spaced the bracket that holds the driverside of the tmic with washers in between the bracket. it bought that driverside up some too. now i have about 3/16 inch gap by my clutch cylinder. on a 08 you can reclock the turbo easily. 09-11 vf52s are not very easy to reclock. i didnt mess with mine when i upgraded. from what ive read the turbo needs to be removed and a tab ground or cut off to make reclocking possible.

I believe the dent is from the hood scoop closing and pushing on the intercooler as well, making it all worse. I found some high-density foam I'm going to put in between the back of the IC and the master when I have it off on Thursday.

I used the Mr. Gasket 738G Chevy Small Block V-8 thermostat gasket. It's very thick compared to the o-ring, but it went on well. at Auto Zone, but it looks bomber and fixed my leak instantly.
I think I blew out my OEM O ring. So I'm going with this gasket. Fits perfect, huh??

Fits perfect on the Perrin, but I haven't even looked at it with stock intercooler in mind. Check your local autoparts store to see for sure!

I have the PW TMIC. I'll buy a few different ones. Along with RTV.

id take it off and bring it with you. the size may be different. the process west is made in australia. the o-ring may be metric.
